About the experience
What you try depends on the package you choose. A basic 30-minute flight allows you to take off, en route and approach with a landing at one of 64,000 airports around the world. During an hour of piloting a commercial aircraft, you will also be able to practice repeated landings at several airports under different weather conditions. Want more adrenaline? The ninety-minute flight already includes up to the TOP 5 most challenging airports in the world or exercises for various crisis situations, from a burning engine to, for example, cabin decompression. Do you want to fly an airliner like a real pilot? You can really try it with us. Under the guidance of experienced instructors, you will not just fly, but drive a real airliner. We will show you how to fly the aircraft according to real operating procedures from takeoff to landing. We didn't skimp on reality and that's why you can experience dozens of glitches. Among them is a simulated fire in the cabin. For your audience, the trainer offers two rows of comfortable seats from a real Airbus for up to 6 other people.
Professional simulator
We are not just talking about an experience simulator here, but about a realistic training simulator on which real pilots are trained. Its cockpit corresponds to a real airplane, including all controls and their real functionality. The panaromatic projection that surrounds you and provides the perfect illusion of flight has a range of 230° and a length of 9 meters. Real driving forces together with sound from 8 speakers underline the authentic experience, when Prague Airport is within reach.
With Airbus, you can do it easily
A huge advantage of Airbus over Boeing is fly-by-wire flight control system technology. The cockpit is equipped with side "sidesticks" (which in layman's terms are joysticks - instead of classic steering columns). The behavior of the fly-by-wire system is equipped with protection against exceeding the flight envelope, in which the aircraft essentially protects itself. If you choose a shorter flight or go to the simulator for the first time, Airbus will make you a better pilot compared to Boeing. And that can be an advantage on the first flight.

About a real aircraft
Introduction:
The Airbus A320 is a civil twin-engine short- and medium-haul aircraft. It was introduced in March 1984 and first flew on 22 February 1987, before making its first commercial flight in April 1988 under Air France livery. The maximum take-off weight is 68 tons with a range of 6100 km. The length is 37.6 meters and it can accommodate 150-180 passengers.
In December 2010, Airbus presented the development of the improved A320neo model (new engine option), which made its first flight in 2014 and entered service with Lufthansa in January 2016. Thanks to more efficient engines, an improved wing including sharklets, it is more economical by up to 15%.
In October 2019, due to the tragic accidents of the Boeing 737MAX, it became the best-selling airliner in the world. As of December 2019, a total of 9,247 aircraft have been delivered to more than 330 carriers.
Development:
After the success of the Airbus A300, they began developing a new machine in Toulouse with the aim of surpassing the once most popular airliner, the Boeing 727. The new Airbus was supposed to have the same capacity, but significantly lower operating costs. The digital technology used on the A320 was a two-generation technical leap over the all-analog Boeing 727 and a generation leap over the Boeing 737 300/400/500 series. The Airbus A320 model was supposed to be a worldwide replacement for the Boeing 727 and the oldest 737 variants.
After the rise in oil prices in the 1970s, which was paid for by the Concorde plane, it was necessary to reduce fuel costs with the Airbus A320. To achieve this, a number of state-of-the-art technologies were used, such as a fly-by-wire flight control system or the use of composite materials, or changing the center of gravity through in-flight fuel transfer. Thanks to many improvements, the Airbus A320 achieved up to 50% lower consumption compared to the Boeing 727.
The A320's systems and avionics are designed in such a way that it can be upgraded to a newer version and thus be modern even after twenty years in service.
The cockpit is equipped with side "sidesticks" (which are joysticks in layman's terms - instead of classic steering columns) for controlling the aircraft. The behavior of the fly-by-wire system is equipped with protection against exceeding the flight envelope, which was a complete novelty for pilots at the time (in the late 1980s).

How does it go?
The experience starts right in your living room: after you book, we’ll send you a FREE bonus—an experience guideand a video, which can help you prepare even better. Once you take a seat in the prepared cockpit with an instructor, the main experience time you have booked begins. Another bonus during the main experience is a 15-minute session (available on request) for accompanying guests: either a flight on Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 on an Xbox Series X, or a virtual vacation in VR (Meta Quest 3) with self-service controls. After the experience, we’ll give you a tour of our center and gradually show you all of our professional simulators. If any of them are in operation, you can take a look inside through the dedicated viewing window. For experiences on the Formula 1 and Racing Special simulators, an instructor is available, or—by prior arrangement—a professional instructor, Jan Charouz.
Can I bring a guests?
Yes, for experience vouchers you may bring up to three spectators with you; however, only the gift recipient may pilot/drive. The only exception is the submarine experience, where up to four people can take part in different roles. Last Minute offers and multi-person courses do not include spectators in the price. Spectator tickets (except for courses) above the allowed limit can be purchased on site, subject to capacity, for CZK 190 per person. Taking turns in the cockpit is allowed for accompanying guests only with a surcharge of CZK 490 per each additional person taking turns, due to the discounted pricing of longer single-person experiences and the increased wear and tear on the simulators when multiple people rotate.
What is the ideal session length?
It depends on how deep you want to go and how much you’d like to try. A cockpit time of 90–120 minutes is absolutely manageable and gives you the best TOP experience. What’s more, with the 120-minute option you can agree an individual date and time with us upon request. However, the best-selling option is 60 minutes, because it lets you repeat landings with civilian aircraft, or enjoy an air-to-air dogfight in the F-16 or F/A-18 fighter simulator. Racing simulators typically include two tracks and two cars, plus more time to improve your lap times and gain experience. Choose according to your possibilities, because you can always extend the experience during booking by paying the price difference.
Do I need any previous experience?
Absolutely not — our instructor will be with you for the entire experience and will explain everything you need to successfully master each phase of the simulation, even if you don’t review the materials we send you in advance. However, for more complex simulators such as the Boeing 737NG, Airbus A320, F-16 Fighting Falcon, and F/A-18 Hornet, we do recommend an individual pre-flight briefing for CZK 970 / 30 minutes, so you can fully enjoy your main experience.
Can I exchange the voucher for another one?
Yes, you can. The best option is to purchase a universal experience voucher, allowing the recipient to choose their preferred simulator. However, if you’ve already selected a specific experience, you can exchange it for another when making a reservation online, paying any price difference if necessary.
What about the validity of the voucher, the reservation date and the cancellation of the experience?
The voucher is valid for 6–12 months and can be extended in our online booking system for CZK 670. For expired vouchers, you need to contact us by email to arrange an extension, which costs CZK 970. The gift recipient chooses the date and time during the voucher’s validity period in the online booking system. You can cancel your booking free of charge no later than 72 hours before the experience starts. Otherwise, you can use a 50% discount to purchase a new voucher, provided you do so within one week of the original booking date.
Will I be piloting alone or with an instructor?
Yes, you’ll pilot as much as you’re capable of! However, our instructor will always be there to assist you as needed to ensure you fully enjoy the experience.
Will I share my experience with someone else?
No, all experiences are private, reserved exclusively for the voucher recipient and their guests. No one will interrupt your time in the cockpit with our instructor.
Are there any minimum age and height requirements for the applicant?
Our simulators are suitable—and therefore recommended—for guests from 12 years of age and 150 cm in height, due to the complexity of the experience and the ergonomics of an adult cockpit. They are also designed for adults with a body weight of up to 120 kg. However, we also have extensive experience with younger children, for whom the new CPT B737NG mini simulator is ideal and can be purchased as an add-on to the main experience.
Is the trainer fully moving "full-motion-simulator"?
Yes, we have two motion simulators: The Racing Special 5DOF (5 degrees of freedom: heave, pitch, roll, longitudinal and lateral movement). A 4DOF motion fighter jet simulator (F-16 / F/A-18) in VR using the new Pimax Crystal Super headset. Among our non-motion simulators with large-scale projection that still create a very convincing sense of movement are the Boeing 737NG, Airbus A320, Cessna 172, F-16 Fighting Falcon, and F/A-18 Hornet in mixed reality with Somnium VR1, as well as Formula 1 and U-BOAT. Professional fighter jet simulators are generally not built on motion platforms due to the high G-forces involved.

Můj přítel ode mě dostal k narozeninám půl hodinovou instruktáž v Leteckém simulátoru Airbus A320. Večer před návštěvou mi volal pan Martínek s tím, že mohu prodloužit na hodinu, a tak jsem tak učinila a rozhodně nelituji! Již když jsme na místo dorazili a vcházeli jsme dovnitř, dýchla na nás úžasná, dříve nepoznaná atmosféra. Připadali jsme si jako ve filmu. Pak se nám představila strašně moc milá mladá paní pilotka a vzala nás do simulátoru. Mému příteli perfektně vysvětlila, co má dělat a on pak vzletěl z pražského letiště a přistávali jsme na Mallorce, v Palermu, v L.A., a na dalších místech, kde jsme si vždy mohli prohlédnout i okolí letiště, tak jak je skutečně vidět z letadla. Už jako malý kluk se zajímal o letadla a obdivuje tyto stroje dodnes. Dříve stačilo lepení modelů a pozorování letadel nad hlavou. Od roku 2003 se sny být skutečným pilotem začaly rýsovat více jasněji a získal kvalifikaci obchodního pilota s doložkou IR/MEP, ATPL(A) frozen. V roce 2009 úspěšně absolvoval výběrové řízení na pozici dopravního pilota u společnosti ČSA. V současnosti se zabývá obchodními lety pro soukromou společnost, která hodlá využívat obchodní leteckou dopravu s využitím turbovrtulových letadel pro transport speciálních lékových forem.

Radek Topinka, autor projektu a majitel začal s létáním v roce 2009 v letecké škole Aviatický klub, následně pokračoval studiem ATPL na dopravního pilota. Po ekonomické krizi v roce 2010, která měla dopad i na velké létání se rozhodl naplno věnovat projektu leteckých simulátorů a v roce 2012 otevřel současné centrum Simulation of Reality na Zličíně. Věnuje se nadále aktivně provozu a rozvoji centra, ale také instruktorské činnosti.
